Changan's total sales in 2020 exceed 2 million vehicles, an increase of 13.98%

Changan Automobile announced its December sales data.

On January 6, Changan Automobile announced that Changan Automobile will produce 2.033 million vehicles in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 13.14%; sales volume will be 2.036 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 13.98%.

Among them, in December 2020, Changan Automobile produced 243,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 23.37%; sales volume was 200.6 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 3.57%.

For now, Changan Automobile has not announced the sales results of specific models and brands. From the currently known information, the sales of Changan Chinese brand models in Changan Automobile are increasing year by year. Ascension, it will account for 75% of total sales in 2020.

Changan Automobile stated in its investor relations event on December 7 that, according to Shangri-La’s plan, Changan Automobile will build three dedicated platforms for new energy vehicles in 2020, and will roll out 25 intelligent new models by 2025. Energy vehicles, covering the fields of EV, PHEV, and FCV.

In November, Zhu Huarong, chairman of Changan Automobile, said that he is working with Huawei and CATL to jointly build a high-end smart car brand and high-tech high-end products.
