On January 21, the China Insurance Research Institute of Automotive Technology Research and Test Center (Beijing) Co., Ltd. held an evaluation results press conference in Beijing, and released the evaluation results of seven C-IASI models, including FAW-Volkswagen Audi Q5L, JAC Jiayue A5, FAW Toyota RAV4 Rongfang, Brilliance BMW X3, Weilai EC6, Dongfeng Qichen Qichen Star and Ideal ONE.

It can be seen that Audi Q5L, Toyota RAV4 Rongfang, BMW X3, Weilai EC6 and Ideal ONE, except for crashworthiness and maintenance economy, all have been awarded G Excellent.

While JAC Jiayue A5 received M general evaluation in 25% offset collision, side collision, seat/headrest and pedestrian outside the car received A good evaluation. The side collision of Dongfeng Qichenxing received M general evaluation, and the rest were excellent.

So far, C-IASI has released the evaluation results of 14 models in the 2020 evaluation batch. Compared with the evaluation in 2019, the evaluation models have greatly improved the economy and safety of vehicles. . In a low-speed collision of 15km/h, the airbag false detonation rate of 27 models tested in 2019 reached 26%, and the airbag false detonation rate of 14 models tested in the 2020 batch was 7%, which is comparable to the market tested by similar foreign research institutions The 5% low-speed collision airbag false initiation rate quickly narrowed the gap; in terms of vehicle safety configuration, the side curtain configuration rate increased from 59% in the 2019 batch to 79%, and the vehicle emergency brake assist system (AEB) standard configuration rate increased from 2019 26% of the total increased to 43% of the 2020 batch.
