40,000 hours, hand-made, Bentley Blower comes out

Blower was a racing car launched by Bentley in the late 1920s. At that time, only four of them were built, and they competed on the field. At present, the Mulliner department of Bentley Motors uses original design drawings and advanced equipment and tools to build 12 Blower replica models based on Bentley's No. 2 race car.




According to Bentley officials, Bentley Mulliner, the automotive customization department, spent nearly 40,000 hours in hand-building Blower. By disassembling Blower’s No. 2 racing car model, it used 3D laser to scan every part to recreate precise new parts. Bentley re-engraved its 1,846 parts, and then reassembled them into a replica Blower by hand.



Blower interior seat leather is derived from cattle produced by Bridge of Weir leather company The blood red leather interior, the interior seat shape adopts the design of the original model, and the interior is filled with a total of 10 kilograms of natural horse hair, achieving the ultimate luxury.



In terms of power, Blower will be equipped with a four- and one-half-liter four-cylinder Supercharged engine, this engine is equipped with a Rhodes-type supercharger manufactured by Amherst Villiers, and is equipped with aluminum pistons, overhead camshafts, magnesium crankcases, four valves per cylinder and dual spark plugs.
