First use the computer to read the fault, the computer shows that the solenoid valve control circuit of the intake camshaft position is faulty, this should be a solenoid valve malfunction. The voltage of the second front oxygen sensor circuit is low and the third fuel correction system is too lean. These two faults can be regarded as one fault. The communication bus of the last fault control module is disconnected. This fault is hard to say now, and needs to be checked slowly in a while.


On the road test, the short-term fuel correction and long-term fuel correction data are abnormal.


After reading the oxygen data stream before and after, it is found that the preoxygen does not support this data stream. What the hell is this? The fat guy hasn't encountered it yet, and the post-oxygen data flow is normal.


Since the computer can't read the front data stream, I am going to use a multimeter to measure the front oxygen voltage.


Connect a multimeter, the voltage value shows 0.45 volts and keeps changing.


The 0.39 volt keeps changing, indicating that the pre-oxygen data feedback is normal. Fat brother now wonders if the computer did not receive it? Because the front oxygen sensor affects the CEU fuel correction, which affects the mixture is too rich or too lean.


Look, everyone, Regal 2.0 engine has two models, the first is 2.0LDK, the second is 2.0LTD, After checking the nameplate of the vehicle, he found that he had selected the wrong engine just now. This Regal's engine is LTD.


After entering the LTD engine, the front oxygen data flow is normal. Fat brother said that after repairing the car for so many years, he has not encountered an oxygen sensor data stream that does not support it.


Since the front oxygen data flow is normal, the next step is to check the intake camshaft solenoid valve.


It is easier to check the intake solenoid valve. We can unplug the solenoid valve plug and connect the test light. If the test light keeps flashing, the computer can clear the fault at this time. Finally, plug the plug into the solenoid valve, and the fault cannot be cleared, indicating that the solenoid valve is damaged.


The engine valve cover is leaking oil.


The throttle is also dirty.


Accessories that need to be replaced, valve cover cushion, spark plug oil seal, intake camshaft solenoid valve.


Open the valve cover.


The engine sludge is not too much.


Replace the solenoid valve. The fat guy added that replacing the VVT u200bu200bsolenoid valve does not require opening the valve chamber cover.

After replacing the solenoid valve, all faults can be cleared.


A large number of black objects are discharged from the exhaust pipe after starting the vehicle. This is caused by the long-term abnormal combustion of the mixed gas. .


On the road test, everyone carefully looks at the short-term fuel correction and the long-term fuel correction. You can compare the picture before the repair.


Now that the car is running, the engine speed is much faster than before.


There is no light on the meter now.
