Yan Pengcheng said at the meeting that it is necessary to steadily improve residents' propensity and ability to consume by stably promoting employment, improving social security, increasing transfer payments, and optimizing income distribution structure. Strengthen market supervision, take the construction of a credit system as the starting point, strengthen the protection of consumer rights and interests, and further create a good consumption environment, so that consumers can consume with confidence. We will implement more scientific and precise epidemic prevention and control measures to create conditions for residents' consumption. Continuously improve the quality of supply and launch more specialized and new products to meet the diverse and multi-level consumer needs of consumers.

At the same time, it is necessary to improve consumption policies, orderly abolish some administrative restrictions on consumer purchases, promote the shift from purchase management to use management of consumer goods such as automobiles, and encourage purchase-restricted cities to appropriately increase the number of license plates. Promote the renewal and consumption of household appliances and other durable consumer goods with large holdings, improve the recycling and treatment system of used household appliances, support the development of household appliances trade-in activities, and promote the upgrading of household appliances consumption.
