Honda's two-wheel division launched two 4-cylinder motorcycles, CBR650R/CB650R, in 2019, which are sold globally with super high CP value. In order to meet the EU 5 emission regulations next year, the original factory will also undergo a 2021-style minor change. In addition to complying with the regulations, the appearance and equipment have also been upgraded.
It is understood that the displacement of the 2021-style CBR650R/CB650R will remain unchanged, and the redesigned camshaft ( Profile ), timing ignition angle, exhaust system and ECU computer adjustment, so that CBR650R/CB650R not only meets the EU 5 standards, but the maximum horsepower is also slightly increased to 95 horsepower (+1 horsepower).

In terms of equipment, the new CBR650R/CB650R will be replaced with SHOWA SFF-BP 41mm inverted forks in the front suspension part, and increase the recognition of the LCD instrument. A USB Type C socket will be added, and the current plastic bracket will be replaced by a steel plate bracket at the rear of the car. As for the rear shock, the same as the current model, the 7-stage adjustable, and the brake system will remain unchanged.

In addition, in terms of average fuel consumption, the CBR650R/CB650R, which passed the EU Phase 5 standard, also has a performance of 20.4km/L. It is expected that the price of the new CBR650R/CB650R may increase slightly under the upgraded equipment, and the details will not be known until the official release.
