It can reach up to 800,000 kilowatts, and the annual charging power is about 1 billion kilowatt-hours.



Faced with the dual challenges of Shanxi’s new energy consumption pressure and the rapid development of electric vehicles, the Provincial Energy Bureau has innovated its work ideas, and together with the Provincial Electric Power Company, it is the first to create a “new energy + electric vehicle” smart collaborative interactive system across the country , Organically integrate new energy and electric vehicles through smart energy systems, and transform the power balance method from a single method of “source with load” to a two-way coordination method of “source-load interaction”, and build a “source-network-load” mutual benefit. The new pattern of win-win and coordinated development is in line with the general direction and trend of power development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and has achieved further innovation in power demand-side management.



The 'new energy + electric vehicle' smart energy pilot project will aggregate more than 7,300 charging facilities in all parts of the province, with a load of 430,000 kilowatts. It is expected to bring 50,000 kilowatts of peak shaving resources to the power grid. It can provide low-cost flexible resources for the power system, effectively solve the problem of abandoning wind and light, and can also greatly reduce the full cycle cost of electric vehicles, enabling electric vehicle users to obtain additional auxiliary services or peak-to-valley benefits through electricity market transactions. It is conducive to promoting the development and application of the electric vehicle industry and promoting low-carbon and environmentally friendly travel.


After the kick-off meeting, the Provincial Energy Bureau will further tap the user-side controllable load resources on the basis of improving the electric vehicle users' participation in the electricity demand-side response market mechanism, and gradually change the 'coal to electricity' and non-continuous production Of industrial users are included in the scope of the collaborative and interactive smart energy pilot, forming aggregate benefits, expanding the scale of demand response, expanding the way to absorb new energy on a larger scale, and boosting the comprehensive reform pilot of Shanxi’s energy revolution.
