Hennessey, a famous American tuning company, recently officially released its new supercar Venom F5. The car will be produced in a limited number of 24 units, and deliveries will begin next year.
Venom F5 will be equipped with a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and matched with a seven-speed automatic manual gearbox. Hennessy official data shows that the Venom F5 engine can produce a power output of 1,354kw/1,617N·m, its 0-100km/h speed-up time is less than 3 seconds, the 0-200km/h speed-up time is less than 4.7 seconds, and the top speed can reach 500km/h. h.
The engine of Venom F5 uses Hennessy’s newly designed cast iron cylinder block, aluminum cylinder head and camshaft, with a total mass of 289kg . The intake system of Venom F5 is more unique. The intercooler is located between the booster chamber and the cylinder head. This design structure can help the engine obtain better intake efficiency, thereby stimulating higher power. The exhaust system is made of stainless steel and heat- and corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium-iron alloy treated by Cerakote ceramic coating. Hennessy also applies this material to the underside of the engine compartment cover and rear deck.
The lightweight design concept of the vehicle is embodied in the carbon fiber monocoque chassis, carbon fiber tubes and carbon fiber body panels. In the end, the dry weight of Venom F5 was limited to 1,360 kg, and its power-to-mass ratio was as high as 1,289 horsepower.

Venom F5 will provide five driving modes, namely sports mode, track mode, drag mode, wet mode and F5 mode. In each mode, Venom F5 will have different power output, braking and traction, and F5 mode is the only mode setting that can trigger the maximum power of Venom F5.
Hennessy will provide a track upgrade kit for Venom F5, which includes a more aggressive front splitter and rear Flying wings, 6-piston front brake calipers and 4-piston rear brake calipers, and 15.35-inch carbon ceramic brake discs. The regular version of Venom F5 starts at $1.8 million, while the track upgrade version starts at $2.1 million.
