Vision Virgin Motorsport and Johnson Matthey have reached a multi-year strategic partnership

Today, Vision Virgin Racing officially announced that it has reached a multi-year strategic partnership with Johnson Matthey. Johnson Matthey is headquartered in the United Kingdom and is a listed company on the FTSE 100 Index. Johnson Matthey is committed to creating a cleaner and healthier world through its world-leading sustainable development technologies, especially cathode material technology.

Johnson Matthey will become the official partner of the Vision Virgin Racing Team. In a series of sustainable development projects carried out by the team with the theme of 'Winning the Race against Climate ChangeChange and accelerate the transformation of zero-emission vehicles.

In addition, Johnson Matthey will use its advanced nickel-rich battery material eLNO® to jointly develop the world's first two-seater electric racing car with the Vision Virgin Racing Team. eLNO® is a series of advanced nickel-rich cathode materials specially designed and developed by Johnson Matthey for automotive battery applications. It provides high energy density while ensuring excellent battery cycle life. Through close technical cooperation, the two parties will jointly build a working two-seater electric racing car at Silverstone, where the headquarters of the Vision Virgin Racing Team is located.
